Description

It is becoming more and more difficult to see. Chanukah is the time to "see". The nes (miracle) of Chanukah took place in Eretz Yisrael. Purim is the abilty to hear since we cannot "see" outside the Land of Israel. We stand in front of our menorah thousands of miles from Eretz Yisrael and Hashem reveals to us that we can still "see." The brothers could not "see" Yosef haTzadik. If we do not have Chanukah in our life, then we do not really "see" our spouses, our children, our friends. Eretz Yisrael comes to visit us during Chanukah. We have to "see" without our eyes. Amazing story of note hidden in an old wooden menorah made in the ghetto in Europe.
