Description

Matzah is called lechem oni (the bread of poverty). Geula (redemption) means that I am totally independent. Physical death is a transformation and change, not an end. To an oni (poor person), his world has died and he no longer attached to the world. Only where there is true poverty can there be a geula. Geula is simplicity while slavery is complexity on top of complexity. The month of Nissan, the first month, stands alone. Becoming a Jew or any other major change of status requires chipazon, a quick tearing away. Geula is connected to straightforwardness and the color white.
