Description

G-d created a heavenly realm and an earthly realm. Over-investing in this world brings us to a state of desolation and confusion. Even permissible indulgence has negative effects. When we are filled with the light of G-d, we see how the world helps us draw closer to G-d. We should ask G-d to shine light into our lives and to help us remember our purpose in life. A fish that loses it’s fins when out of the water is still kosher. If we displayed signs of purity during Yomim Noraim (Days of Awe) we are kosher even when we return to our mundane lives.
