Description

Yisro changed his life through listening to something that nobody else listened to. Truth fills a person and is called the inner light. Emunah (faith) is the surrounding light. To grow in truth, we must go through dark periods with only emunah. Being Jewish does not mean that life is always clear. The days of the Shoftim (Judges) were a time of unbelievable spiritual descents. The souls of converts come from the crowns on the letters of the Torah. When Rabbi Akiva died, the honor of Torah disappeared.
