Description

What does it mean that Shavuos is considered a day of judgment for the fruits of the tree? Why is the meal offering on Shavuos called a new offering? We all have feelings of newness and excitement in serving Hashem. It is our job to constantly feel an excitement for Torah and not to fall into a cold routine. We are still working on rectifying the Jewish people's act of oversleeping the day that we received the Torah. Each year we enter into a new way of receiving the Torah. The judgment of Shavuos is looking at what is the essential point of our lives and what our priorities are.
