Description

The Jews committed Chet Haegel (the sin of the Golden Calf) because they did not believe that G-d orchestrates every detail of our lives. The Mishkan (Tabernacle) taught us that Hashem is involved in every aspect of our lives. The first Beis Hamikdash (Holy Temple) demonstrated G-d’s unsurpassed love for the Jews. The second Beis Hamikdash taught us that G-d loves us even when we don’t see Him clearly. The three shabbos meals represent the three different homes of G-d. Purim taught us that G-d loves us even in times of darkness.
