Description

The Parah Adumah (Red Cow) is an atonement for the sin of the Golden Calf. Even though we do not know the rationale of how the ashes of the Red Cow purify, we can still learn from the mitzvah. The ashes remove the impurity of death from the world. Death is the greatest mystery of human existence. Belief in Hashem takes away the fear of death. We cannot take away death, but we can add life. We can give someone else life through giving them confidence.
