Description

Ma'amar HaDor, P23. Kedusha touches us in all areas of our lives. Just like kedusha was being decentralized among the Jewish people from the few to the masses, l'havdil in the world of the non-Jews, political power was being decentralized to the masses. Yaakov sucked out all of the kedusha from Esav, who was not worthy of the kedusha. There are fewer and smaller ignoramuses and also fewer and smaller Gedolim. In that generation, the children were frustrated that they could not receive from their parents, and the parents were frustrated that they could not communicate with their children. The young people wanted a life that was not based on fear, but based on identifying with something.
