The world is called olam (concealment) because Hashem is hidden. Especially in our generation, the evil inclination makes the essential things secondary and the secondary things essential. Expectations bring disappointments. Based on our actions it appears as if we're going to live forever. The truth is only noticed when it's in danger of being lost. In this generation we have the quantity but not the quality. Where are our priorities?
