On Tisha B'av (9th day of Av) Hashem infuses the reality of Leidas Moshiach (birth pangs of the redeemer). We have a piece of the Beis HaMikdash (holy temple) in our heart. Leidas Moshiach is a big time for our personal redemption. Hashem gives us the special ability to strengthen that part of us called "Moshiach". Eliyahu (Elijah) is our will to do good, to be better Jews. Moshiach is actualizing our will, changing our lives, and connecting our thoughts to speech.
