Eretz Yisroel and the Jewish people are never dependant on the diplomacy of nation-states. Redemption comes only when a Jew rejects hope based on our own or others' efforts. Our challenge today is to recognize that our only hope is Hashem. We are like Hashem’s children and like children who are so beloved by parents we have no concept of our own power and strength. Eretz Yisroel and the Jewish people have no intermediary. Everything is direct from Hashem. Hashem provides for us on a daily basis– we receive no allowance.
