Description

P. 175. So involved in his own ruchnius (spirituality) that he does not pay attention to anybody else; and conversely, so involved with helping others, that he never reveals his own neshamah (soul). Doing mitzvos or great things just to score points in shamayim (heaven). Wonderful chassadim (charitable acts) day and night, but they don't come from his neshamah. Connecting to others requires consistent kindness and goodness in all the small things rather than an occasional heroic act of mesiras nefesh (sacrifice). The most fantastic guy in Hatzoloh, but he never has five minutes for his wife or children. On Purim, a person can find the innermost part of himself - when wine enters, the secret truth of a person comes out. Seeing every Jew as a Mordechai (rather than a Haman). I don't need to text you 20 times a day to prove that I love you.
