Description

A world where love is missing. The temporary task of disenging a little bit from this world - a need that needs to be fulfilled. Do I love fish, or do I love "me"? True altruism means not being in it for myself. What we look for in a marriage partner, and why. What of myself am I willing to give up? "When I married you, I invested in you - what am I getting back?" Uncovering tru love on Purim - loving another Jew as yourself (the Tanya's explanation in chapter 32). All of Yiddishkeit is the neshamah (soul) overcoming the body. Hahsem wants us to convert our bodies to serve the soul. Yom Kippur - merely a theoretical love of the other, since I spend most of the time praying in shul; Purim, on the other hand, is a time to truly and practically love other Jews.
