Description

Page 5. Simple means straightforward, but not necessarily easy. The aggravation I have from my jealousy of the other, especially since my jealousy does not bring the object of my desire any closer to me and it often leads to needless hatred. The classic, and well-known approach to kinah (jealousy). Different ways of dealing with a "prince" [which is each and every one of us] who has lost his way - the old way which used to work, and the "new" way of ahavah (love), which is what the Ba'al Shem Tov teaches us. We can enter the fray with our tradditional weapons, or we can be higher than the aveiros (sins). Hashem has enough for everybody - "shefa ad bli dai" (infinite blessing and outpouring). Revisiting the "Wizard of Oz." The klipah (husk) that prevents us from getting to the rainbow, to inner satisfaction, to the mekor habrachah (source of blessing and good).Jealousy shuts down access to the object of desire. When I contemplate and understand that Hashem has given me everything I need, then I can't possibly be jealous of anything or anybody else! It's not the last loaf of bread. Looking at, and connecting to our own brachah!
