Timimus (pure simplicity) is underlying essence of a Jew. The mind thinks and does not feel. Intellectual analysis makes distinctions. Whatever we learn in Torah is a piece of Hashem. Only way to come in contact with Hashem is if we feel we are in a desert. Only Jews can wage a war with a friend while learning.
