Why is it so difficult to daven? Timimus (pure simplicity) is the process of breaking something down to the bare essence of what it is. Timimus is the process of building. The gedolei Yisrael live in utter simplicity. Timimus is infinitely greater than another piece of information gathered. Our real goal is to focus our aspirations to be once again timimus. True life is attachment to the Creator of the world and the real way to reach that is to be real.
