Ultimate good is found in death. Clarify what is frightening about leaving this world. Loneliness is not having a soul connection with your marriage mate. If our connection with this world is a bodily connection without G-d at the center, then the mere thought of leaving this world is very painful. Fear of death is softened if our attachment in this world is only an attachment with the G-dliness found in everything. Sadness comes from being enmeshed in this world and its physcial things and attributes
