Description

A chassid is one whose entire life is seeking G-d. If our deepest longing is attachment to G-d, then we see this world as a block which is lifted with death. Giving nachas ruach (great pleasure) to Hashem is only in this world. Neshama (soul) is afraid of being alive since "life" is filled with tests. Source of man's fear of dying is coming into this world. Our neshama is afraid of being with our body- of being cut off from Hashem. When the body dies it is the beginning of the neshama's enjoyment of life.
