Description

We should be afraid that our ratzon (will) for closeness to Hashem will not be achieved. One must contemplate and articulate again and again, “Will this act bring me closer to Hashem?” The more sensitive one’s soul is, the more he will be able to feel yirah (fear of sinning). In the generation before the coming of Moshiach, there is a lot of chutzpah (audacity). Rejection of authority essentially contradicts yirah. Today, ahavah (love) is stronger than yirah.
