Description

Based on Rav Tzvi Meir Zilberberg's Sichos Hischaskus Erev Shabbos Chazon 5759, P. 25. The sixth in a series about davening (praying) during the three weeks – what to think about, and how to improve our davening. We have all experienced difficult beginnings; we should help others experiencing difficulty in beginning to learn or pray. How can we face Hashem without worrying about our brothers? Yosef was calling out to his brothers, and they did not hear. When Hashem sees one Jew worrying about the next, He can not hold back from showering blessing upon the world. How many Jews are suffering! All suffering can be traced to the suffering of the shechina (divine presence) in exile. We may think that we are crying for all sorts of reasons, but the root of our tears is the destruction of the Beis Hamikdash (temple).
