Description

Based on Rav Tzvi Meir Zilberberg's Sichos Hischaskus Erev Shabbos Chazon 5759, P. 22. The fifth in a series about davening (praying) during the three weeks – what to think about, and how to improve our davening. Our soul constantly longs for redemption. Why does a person cry? If we’d understand the harm our sins cause, we would cry. Even when we can’t help another Jew, we can cry with him. Empathizing with another Jew brings redemption. We should pray for others – not only for ourselves. Hashem is so accessible to us during this time of the year, because He is on the road, not in His palace. Hashem’s presence can only be found in a place where Jews are at peace.
