Description

P. 64, Perek 11. How is it possible to look into the very essence of the Jewish national soul and understand the most intricate detail of every mitzvah (commandment). The forefather's deep connection to mitzvos even before the Torah was given. If a person is cut off from other Jews then he is cut off from Hashem and from Torah. We have all the necessary equipment to become great people. Our greatest problem is lack of faith in ourselves. Torah is the candle that sheds light on our path. There are certain components of learning, stingencies or minhagim (customs) to which a person connects more than another person. Live your own life rather than another person's life. Even though it is wonderful to observe others and learn from them, if we lack a certain basic confidence, we will unable to differentiate when to take certain things in and when to leave them out. A strictness example - a woman covering her hair in her house. Extreme condemnation of those who disagree, even if they have a minority opinion they can rely upon. Differentiating between Halachah and everything else. The seminary brainwashing that the only true Torah-life is living in Eretz Yisrael.
