P63. In truth, we are unworthy to learn pnimius (inner, the secrets of) haTorah in our generation. Our generation has lost its sensitivity to godliness. We have become less spiritual [and more spiritual at the same time] and more thick-skinned and coarse than prior generations. How is it possible that people who do not keep Shabbos and mitzvos are able to study kabbalah (Jewish mysticism)? Desensitized to kedushah (holiness) and davening.
