Description

8th Perek, piece 5 continued. The Torah only hints to the tachlis (ultimate purpose) and focuses on the practical. A person might mistakenly think that he can get to the tachlis without halacha. Derech Eretz (basic human decency) is the prerequisite to Torah. Moshe spoke directly about the means to get to the end. With very pnimi (inner) Torah, a person can get easily caught up in the imagination. When the minim (heretics) began saying that there was only one world, this world, the Sanhedrin decreed that the existence of two worlds now needed to be spoken about openly. Pnimius HaTorah (the inner dimension of Torah) speaks for itself, while the revealed Torah requires much more work to understand.
