Description

Sixth Perek, 16th Torah. Ribui halimud means covering a tremendous amount of ground, and binds the higher kedusha (holiness) of Torah to the ruach (spirit) of a person. The Ba'al HaTanya says that we should even learn Torah that we do not understand. Hashem gives us a special chut (string) shel chesed and a special love when we continue to learn Torah even when it is not clear. The Gaon of Vilna says to learn a lot by yourself, then afterwards, grab a chevrusa and learn the material again. The beautiful pieces of lomdus (deep analytical halachic discourses) help the rest of us to have a love for Torah.
