Description

The honor of Shabbos is expressed in its preparation. Before Shabbos, the table must be set, the candles lit and the beds made. Shabbos is uniquely connected to the Beis Hamikdosh. All the aspects of Shabbos have parallels with the Beis Hamikdosh (i.e. the Shabbos candles and the Menorah). On Shabbos we create a dwelling place for the Shechinah- learn how!!
