Description

There is great emphasis made on remembering Yetzias Mitzrayim (redemption from Egypt) because it instills within us the belief that Hashem created the world and has control over it. Matza (unleavened bread) strengthens emunah (belief). Emunah does not mean believing in the existence of Hashem, it means believing that Hashem's existence completely transcends our logical understanding. There is nothing besides G-d. Chametz (leavened bread) represents 'I exist", while Matza symbolizes that there is nothing but Hashem.
