This is a Mussar shmooze for Parshat Miketz & Chanuka. What ethical lessons can we derive from Yoseph Hatzadik and the Chashmonaim? We will study the principle of sharing leadership with others, the middah of anava (humility), the importance of a commitment to being responsible (achrayus), and self sacrifice for the benefit of others. Rav Chaim Shmuelevitz teaches how important it is to be sincere in our dedication to mitzvot "leshma", not for our own personal benefits and honor.
