Description

After reviewing the questions raised by the Pachad Yitzchok in the 8th Maamar, we will complete the Maamar. We will study the concept of Churban and Galus, and the concept of שתיקה with regard to Hashem. It is the greatness of Chachmei Yisrael, a greatness that surpasses that of the Nevi'im, that allows a penetration into the world of the thoughts & the silence of HakaBaHu. It is that greatness of chochma that serves as the basis of establishing the days of Chanuka as days of Geula from Galus Yavan, a galus that represents the vilification of Chochmas Haorah, a שתיקה of God which is even more profound than the Divine silence of the previous Galuos. The al hanisim emphasizes the Geulah from Yavan & the miracles that signify the Y"T of חנוכה.
