Description

P. 143. Ma'amar "Derech Histaklus Chiuvis." The heart is naturally drawn to one who sees good in everything and everyone. "Hatzopheh nistaros" (who sees the hidden on the day of judgement) - the pshat (simple explanation) is mussar (ethics) which is scary; if Hashem sees absolutely everything, all of our sins and negative traits are revealed. The Ba'al Shem Tov taught that the deeper meaning is that Hashem looks at the good underneath - the nekudah tovah. A positive person give life to everyone around him. That is the meaning of Hashem being a "Kel chai" (living God). Is the glass half empty or half full? How does a person see another person?
