P. 119. A quick review of the three galuyos (exiles). One is being under someone's control, two is being under our own limitations, three is when wanting to do Hashem's ratzon (will). Gadlus (greatness) according to the Baal Shem Tov is how I relate to Hashem in this moment. All enslavement, even for holy things, has a taste of Mitzrayim (Egypt). Hashem wants our learning to be with Him. One of the less good aspects of having a learning schedule and goals is that when a person achieves, he can have a feeling of 'I did my job, now I'm free.' The ikar (essential point) of serving Hashem is not how 'successful' we are, but being with Hashem in everything we do.
