P. 107. Hashem, so to speak, took on certain obligations to us, his kallah (bride). In marriage and life, it is unfortunately possible to live in boredom except for the high moments. Having clearly defined objectives and goals is very healthy and necessary. We want to try to return to that feeling of being under the chuppah with Hashem at Mt. Sinai. In a relationship there is more than just objectives and goals, there has to be balance. A kesher pnimi (inner connection) has to be given the time to develop. Avodas Hashem is about being both in the Halachic structure and in the simcha (joy) of the relationship with Hashem. You cannot have Shavuos without Pesach.
