P. 82. Machshavas (thoughts) does not just pass through our minds. A thought gives birth to a spiritual reality. If you think good, it creates a reality of tov (good). Tikunim (rectifications) can be done to 'lost thoughts' when a person overcomes them during davening. At a levaya (funeral), the neshama (soul) only wants those who come to grow in emunah and to do teshuvah. The malachim (angels) who accompany us back home on Shabbos night correspond to our thoughts. Thought is the neshama of action. There are many deep thoughts that we can access while looking at the Chanukah candles.
