Description

P. 63. Simcha (joy) in life comes from carrying out the job that we came into the world to do. We all have the natural desire to make yeish (something) from ayin (nothing), using our talents to create, just like Hashem does, so to speak. When we do not have the desire to make seder (order) out of tohu (chaos) there is something wrong. Parnasa does not mean money, it means to sustain, to make a living, to give us purpose and productivity. Adam's curse of having to work is really about being focused on the money instead of the fulfillment and joy of the work itself. The worst suffering is to think that what you are doing means nothing.
