Description

P. 58. A proper outlook on life, whether it's a sad or joyous occasion. Chochmah (wisdom) - the proper perspective for everything. A mistaken view of joy: anticipating and having a lack fulfilled. Reminding ourselves of the purpose of our lives - revealing Hashem's honor/greatness in this world. Working 50 weeks a year to attain 2 weeks of fleeting satisfaction; is that all there is? So what am I really working for? Caught up in the hamster-wheel of life, to attain the next thing, and the next thing, and the next thing... When nothing seems to have its own meaning. Holiness - seeing every moment as my life as important. Whatever situation we find ourselves in - this is where Hashem wants us and placed us. Becoming an instrument in Hashem's hands.
