Description

On Rosh Hashana, Hashem determines our relationship to the G-dly part within us. Hashem, so to speak, leaves his sanctuary to create a relationship with us. Our aveiros (sins) divide us from Hashem. We connect to Hashem through the process of malchiyos (rulership), zichronos (remembrance) and shofros. In order awaken the pnimius (essence) of Elokim (G-d) we have to reach into the pnimius of our heart. There must be some relationship between the King and His nation. The shofar awakens the pnimius of the heart.
