Ten Days of Teshuvah give us special opportunity to reach Hashem since we feel very distant from Hashem. When we are broken hearted we call out to Hashem. When we can't handle the pain anymore, we listen to the Shofar. We can feel our pinimius halev (inner point of the heart) which experiences (so to speak) Hashem Himself. A Jew expereinces love that has no boundary since we have a part of infinity inside ourselves. The inner quality of Malchus (Kingship) is the deep connection between the Jewish People and Hsshem. He is One of us and we are one with Him.
