Description

On Rosh Hashana, every Jewish soul stands before G-d. Our neshamos (souls) are compared to sparks. The unity of the Jewish nation will outlast the disunity of the seventy nations. Each Jew corresponds primarily to one of the ten Kochos hanefesh (strengths of the soul). Our preference of chocolate or vanilla reflects upon our deeper essence. The entire Jewish nation is considered a unified spiritual body with each Jew as one of its spiritual limbs. On Rosh Hashana even the lowest contingents of the Jewish people rise up with the rest of the nation.
