Description

The single theme of Rosh Hashanna is G-d’s sovereignty over the world. On Rosh Hashana we, so to speak, build G-d’s malchus (rulership). The goal of Rosh Hashanna is to reveal the connection between our souls and the pnimius (essence) of G-d. The Shofar shocks us into the realization that G-d is the only reality in the world. On Rosh Hashana the entire Jewish nation rises to the highest madreiga (level).
