Description

Temimus (simplicity) results when the nefesh (soul) rules over us. Shrewdness and cleverness which contain lies are the opposite of simplicity. Falsehood and lies are intrinsically not reality. The nefesh naturally wants to conduct a person in a kind and compassionate way. A person who does not speak from the heart is not being real. The entertainment industry has taken people further from the nefesh. Parents teach children to "act out" to get what they want. We have been misled to believe that sophistication brings success.
