Description

Being a chassid is not about grabbing the leftovers of the rebbe. The holiness of the Beis HaMikdash (the Holy Temple) was revealed through going there on the festivals. The inner core of talmidim (students) deeply connected to the rebbe is the neshama (soul) of Chassidus. The Piaczezna Rebbe was attempting to create groups to revive Chassidus. Students of a rebbe draw Torah from him like a baby draws milk from the mother. A life of isolation and self affliction is not the way to serve G-d. Through the love of and connection to friends, a great light is created and sustained. The avodah (holy work) of this generation is to be with people.
