When we look at the world, we are looking at Hashem. There is a nefesh (soul) in all living things. Bugs and insects act with tremendous skill and precision. That mysterious something in all things is a nekudah (point) of Hashem. We can describe how animals act, but not why they do what they do. The functioning of the human body is a miracle. The essence of the intelligence in all things is not visible. The basic elements of the physical world move and transform through the food chain. Everything comes from the ground and returns there. The hidden light of G-d is the essential life force that animates everything.
