Description

The yetzer hara (evil inclination) may not let someone disconnect from a lust. Shifting focus to a different important idea can temporarily loosen the grip of a lust. Using thought control techniques may at first seem unnatural. Run away from destructive thoughts towards positive thoughts. Do not enter into conversations with bad thoughts. Once a Jew makes the effort to escape bad thoughts, Hashem (G-d) helps. Every effort a person makes counts, and is called a holy stone.
