The purpose of life is not just to live in order to eat like an animal. If we long for the material, that’s all our Olam Haba (World to Come) will be. Only if our thoughts are strong can our yearning for holiness be sustained. Yearning for holiness purifies us from physical desires. Complication causes worry. It’s a good thing to make time without the phone and email during the week. Do I live at home and visit at work or do I visit at home and live at work?
