Description

In this three-part lecture series, we will explore Rabbi Yehuda Halevi's transformation from a poet who indulged in the luxuries of Spanish-Arabic culture to a religious philosopher and outspoken critic of the Spanish-Jewish community. We will explore Halevi’s life journey by studying his poetry and philosophy (Sefer Hakuzari) which were both embedded in and a response to Arabic culture. Join us for a lecture series that will awaken your senses and touch your soul!
