Description
We will continue our study of the first Tos' by reviewing the view of Rabenu Tam, according to which we fulfuill our Mitzva DeOraita of Kriat Shema before Tzeis after Plag HaMincha. We will show that both Rabenu Tam & the Rambam maintain that we can daven both Mincha & Maariv within the same time zone despite the Tartei DeSatrei. We will explain the Rambam based on the two dimensions of Tefilla, the main time zone that engenders the obligation of that particular Tefilla, and an additional time period which allows for the "entity" of Tefilla. We will then analyze the view of the Ri on Zman Kriat Shema and Zmanei Mincha and Maariv.
