Description

Is it really possible that one who searches for Mashiach in the Torah will discover Mashiach in Sedom? This seems like the last place we would expect to find him! In this shiur we will explore the relationship between Lot & Avraham, and establish that these are polar opposites, one reprsenting darkness and 'klala', the other light and 'beracha'. Yet paradoxically the two combine thru the marriage of a Moabit woman to a decedent of Avraham. The product of this combination is Dovid HaMelech the father of Mashiach. We will study the writings of two of the outstanding 'Ba'alei HaMachshava' of our generation in order to make sense out of this paradox.
