Description

Although our daily tefilla mentions the God of each of the Avos, only the name of Avraham appears in the "seal" (chasima) of Avos. The Name EHEYEH is equal to 21. Avraham is the 21st generation since creation. We will see the great significance of the 21st day of Tishrei as a day of Kappara, a special gift granted to Klal Yisrael in the merit of Avraham. Why is Avraham called HaIvri? And why is Og given a name which reflects his encounter with Avraham? Why do we mention at the Haggada that our forefathers dating back to Terach were idol worshipers? These and other q's will be addressed in this shiur.
