Description
We begin our study of the Rambam Hilchot Teshuvah, with an introduction to the mitzvah of Teshuvah & Viduy, the whole year 'round & on Yom Kippur. What is the definition of this mitzvah? How do we reconcile the Rambam's introduction with his presentation of the obligation of Viduy in the codification of the "pnim"? What is viduy & what does the Rambam mean by "Ke'sheyashuv m'cheto Ve'Ya'aseh Teshuvah"? What does the word 'Teshuvah' mean? Why does the Rambam need to tell us that viduy must be recited "in the presence of Hashem"? These and other questions will be addressed in this shiur.
