Description

The mitzva of Teshuva requires that one search not only his actions, but also one's decisions, judgements & way of life. Rav Chaim Shmuelevitz, in his Sichot Mussar, explains that the spiritual giants of our people experienced the fear of Divine Judgement because they were afraid that perhaps their path in live was not the correct one, lest they errored in the very ideology the accepted and implemented in their way of life. In the second part of this shiur, based on the Rav's reconciliation of an apparent contradiction in the Rambam's Hilchot Teshuva, we will divide Teshuva into two different categories: Intellectual Teshuva & Emotional Teshuva. We will ask: should one dwell on the past & live with constant Charata (regret)
